Dr. Goehring has the technology and products to whiten your teeth safely and effectively. Unlike over the counter whitening systems, professional whitening systems won’t damage or strip the protective enamel of your teeth. Furthermore, today’s professional whitening systems are easy to use and very effective.

Composite Restorations

Bonding or composite restoration (fillings) improves the overall look of your teeth. If you have excess space between your teeth, or if they are broken, chipped, stained, or cracked fillings will resolve these situations. Dr. Goehring may also use bonding to protect the tooth or fill in small cavities. Additionally, bonding can usually be completed in just one visit. After gently etching the tooth, a tooth colored material, such as composite resin, are applied directly to the tooth’s surface. The resin can be matched to your teeth’s natural color for a completely natural look.

Dental Veneers

Dr. Goehring may also recommend veneers. Veneers last longer than bonding and cover the front and sides of your teeth to fill in gaps, correct the shape of your teeth, and cover badly stained teeth. However, plastic veneers can be placed in one visit, porcelain veneers are milled in a lab. They are custom fitted so you will have to make two trips to the office for their placement.

Also, Veneers are applied directly to your teeth and hardened with a special light. They can last for many years with proper care.

CEREC Same Day Crowns

We also offer CEREC Same Day Crowns as well. By using our in house crown fabrication system called CEREC, we can design, fabricate and cement your crown all in the same day. In some instances it is important we send your crown to our trusted lab to fabricate depending on your particular situation. Furthermore, in the event we need to send your crown to the lab for fabrication we allow 3-4 weeks until we can permanently place your crown.

Furthermore, enamel shaping can contour and shape your teeth correcting overlapping teeth, irregular or chipped teeth, and minor bite problems. This is a simple procedure and can be done in one visit.
